This class is designed specifically for dancers who want to deepen their connection to their craft, both on and off the stage. Open to dancers of all levels and styles. Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic style of yoga in which every movement is guided and supported by the rhythm of the breath. In addition to building strength and flexibility, this practice cultivates focus, mindfulness, and intentional movement. Each class will begin with a few minutes of pranayama (breathing techniques), followed by a progressive warm-up leading into several rounds of Sun Salutations. The central part of the session will be dedicated to the flow: a fluid sequence of asanas that will change from class to class, allowing us to explore different movements and areas of focus. Toward the end, we will explore backbends and inversions, and conclude with a few minutes in Shavasana, the final relaxation.
