In this workshop, I invite participants to reconnect with the joy, energy, and pleasure of movement. We begin from sensations that arise deep within the body, from our most instinctive roots. As we follow these sensations, movement becomes a way to meet ourselves again: to find authenticity, a sense of safety, and a feeling of truly belonging in our own body.
Our physical research is rooted in efficiency and honesty: using sensorial images to reveal new nuances, patterns, and dynamics within our own movement quality. We work on the performing presence of the body, its totality and its 360° perception, developing awareness and a deeper sense of embodiment.
The practice also challenges the body’s endurance, exploring speed and strength while maintaining safety through a strong, centered core and a soft, available body. The freedom we cultivate in improvisation is carried into choreographic material, allowing us to keep our individuality even within shared structures. I wish for the space to feel alive, filled with curiosity, openness, and care. Where discovery feels light, and the body it’s allowed to find its own truth again. Rooted in the strength of the earth, ignited by the spark and vitality of fire, softened by the fluid care of water, and expanded by the openness of air.
