Workspace Ricerca X is a platform offering space and services to support artistic research and dramaturgy in the field of performance and choreography with the aim to develop creative processes, to support artistic trajectories and to open up a discourse on the artistic production, targeted to professionals in the dance and performing arts field.
Every year we support a number of choreographers, offering a shared residency period, with specific working methods such as an ongoing self-education based on parameters of horizontality, tutoring among peers (peer-coaching), sharing of practices and of materials.
Through talks, lectures and symposiums, we also encourage discourse on the ecosystem of artistic production, in dialogue with other agencies of related fields as well, and the development of critical thinking with a wider community.
The project, founded in 2016, is supported by Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, within the framework of the Artistic Residencies at Lavanderia a Vapore - EDN Dance House, Turin.
